At 1100 AM EDT (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone
Chantal was located near latitude 37.5 North, longitude 76.3 West.
The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the northeast near 17 mph
(28 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue.
Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours.
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1009 mb (29.80 inches).

RAINFALL: Post-Tropical Cyclone Chantal will continue to produce
heavy rainfall across portions of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New
Jersey, and Pennsylvania today. Additional rainfall of 1 to 3
inches, with locally higher amounts, is expected. Isolated to
scattered flash flooding is possible.
