Ontario, the largest
Province, voted for Carney and Ford. Quebec seems to want everything handed to them... They'll block Alberta's pipelines and simultaneously demanding a portion of the proceeds on the sale of Oil and Gas.

I wonder if they have some cruise missiles left over from Iraq. It's a short trip to Ottawa. We just have to wait until parliment is in session.

The "Normal" people live out west and are in line with US thinking.

Well, it's the same as the U.S. Nearly the entire country is normal, except for the hotbeds of liberalism in the large population centers.

my wife and I signed the petition for separation the other day, they were outside Costco and I'm a Costco Slut, so we signed up.

The vote, to my understanding is in October... I am not sure they'll get the votes... Who knows.

There are other things working... The Conservative leader now lives in Alberta, just a few minutes south of Edmonton.

Pierre Poilievre lost his seat in around Ottawa area and for them to keep him someone stepped down and and a special election was held and he won.

BTW, the Liberals were up to no good and they were trying to make the ballot over 700 pages long. Court stepped in, problem solved.

Is that what they're voting on? I thought Alberta was trying to become an independent state?

Becoming the 51st state (of the USA) would put their freedom on the same roller coaster that we're riding on. They should go totally independent.

Realitically, if Alberta goes independent, they will probably ally themselves with the U.S. as opposed to becomming a state. After a few generations, if everything goes well, only then would the 51st state idea be floated.

No... If Pierre gets elected as Canada's Prime Minister and Alberta separates it'll be like the US president living in Mexico.

If the Canadian election is called before October's referendum and Pierre is elected as PM... Before the referendum, and he says he'll address the concerns of the west... Before the referendum... Alberta might separate and Pierre will effectively be living in a different country.

They'll use the same kind of deal where someone stands down to give him a seat and a bi-electio held and they move on.

Pierre has a great opportunity to unite everyone... Carney is a joke and if he's still around in October it might be too late for the country.

My view of the situation from talking to people out west.

It sounds like they should give Pierre a chance. If they pray, and if he works hard, he can pull it off, assuming the voters have buyer's remorse by now.
