  • This really feels like the run-up to WWI

    There's a lot happening in the world. Russia is picking a fight with Azerbaijan. Turkey has already stated that any actual military action by Russia against Azerbaijan would be unacceptable. So, the seed for an escalating conflict has been planted.

    Meanwhile, NATO chief Rutte indicated that China might make a "friendly" request to Russia to pick a fight with NATO once China launches its military action toward Taiwan.

    That, too, would be a prelude to WWIII.

    In short, the chances of WWIII are rapidly increasing.

    Meanwhile, Putin has finally made it clear to Trump that Russia has no intention of stopping the war in Ukraine. After their last phone call, Putin brutally attacked Kyiv, showing he has absolutely no regard for Trump or the US.

    Putin assumes the US has capitulated and is now giving Russia free rein in Ukraine.

    Trump lost the pissing contest with Putin.

    Not to mention the political stress tarrifs will place on our alleys.

    Not to mention the American disdain for our NATO and Asian allies.

    South Korea has already elected a pro Chinese/Russia President since the last one decided to delcare martial law with 0 support in his government.

    You are also seeing an isolationist approach that set in motion not only the start of WWII, and America's eventual involvement in that war.

    Escelating tension in the Middle East and the "premtive strikes" of Iran by both Isreal and the Unites States.

    The administrations utter lack of knowledge about world history (Commenting on the President of Libera's great English and asking if he was educated.). You would think someone on his staff would have briefed him on the History of Liberia. That it was setup as a colonly to resetle freed slave in the 1920, and was looked at as an option during reconstruction. Which ultimately lead to birthright citizenship in the 14th amendment, that Trump seem to be intimately familiar with.
