This isn't a topic that I care about a lot, but the USSC upheld a ban on transgender people from participating in womens' sports.
Here's the part that I find interesting: Justice Sosomayor said "There's no evidence that it's dangerous for women to compete with transgender people."
It's probably true that not much proof exists, but how irresponsible would it be to allow men to compete in boxing matches against women? Or what about an MMA match? Even ice hockey; what happens when an angry tranny guy hits a woman with a hockey stick? Sotomayor thinks we should FAFO.
