    Hello everybody!

    Those of you using GoldED with your Linux BBS, When your reading BBS ads with color, is it garbled with ansi characters and not readable or display fine?

    It's garbled with ansi characters and not readable. I don't think Golded has ever, nor was ever intended to support displaying ansi.

    I remember you doing something (with AI?) not too long ago, and did a pull request to merge it into the master branch. About that time, I asked you if you tested it on anything other than Windows. I don't think you ever responded to that. ;(

    I did get it to display ansi and color in the Windows version, it's available on the Golded repository.

    I don't use the Windows version, which is why I asked if you fully tested it on other versions. Luckily, I had assumed you didn't at the time, so I never messed around with it. If it ever gets fixed and/or verified as fully working, and merged into the main branch, I'll make sure to update.

    I was working on it with ChatGPT and Claude AI, but it really gets deep into re-coding more then I was willing to work on. Maybe another time.
