    A complex low pressure regime brings unsettled spells to many; driest
    with sun southeast.

    Sunday
    Showers are expected for Portugal and Spain, some of them on the heavy
    side near the west coast. Bright with scattered showers for the
    Balearics, Sardinia and Corsica, a few on the heavy side. Heavy rain
    for northern Italy with snow in the mountains, while the central and
    southern parts will see plenty of sunshine. Sunny for the Balkans,
    Greece, and Cyprus. West Türkiye will see plenty of sunshine, while the
    east will see some wintry showers.
    Scattered showers for France, northern Germany and Poland. Early
    showers for the Low Countries as well, but trending drier. Rain and
    snow in Switzerland, this extending into western Austria. Dry further
    east but rather cloudy, these conditions also in Czechia, Slovakia and
    Hungary with some patchy light rain at times. Bright with sunny spells
    for Romania and Bulgaria. Belarus will see some sleet at times, but
    outbreaks of rain expected for Ukraine.
    Strong winds across central and southern Scandinavia into the Baltic
    States. A dry start in the Baltics, then snow arrives in Lithuania.
    Cold with snow showers into Norway's west coast, with some snow showers
    in central Sweden and Finland. Sunnier in south Sweden and Denmark but
    with occasional passing showers.

    Monday
    Scattered showers continue across Iberia, most frequent in the south.
    More scattered showers too over the central Mediterranean islands.
    Italy mostly fine but some showers will drift onto the west coast.
    Similar in the Balkan States where heavy rain will frequent the west
    coast, sunny well inland. Sunny and dry for Greece and Türkiye. A
    strong breeze in southeast Europe but remaining mild.
    A notably cooler day north of the Alps, though milder in southern
    France. Scattered showers in central and southern France with snow in
    the east mountains, this snow stretches widely across Switzerland into
    Austria. A cold northerly pushes bright spells and wintry showers into
    Germany and the Low Countries, some into northern Poland as well. Heavy
    rain across southern Poland, Slovakia, and some parts of Czechia and
    Hungary. Drier further east with sunshine near the Black Sea and a
    strong but mild breeze.
    Snow showers continue onto the Norwegian west coast. Bright in the
    south, Sweden, and Denmark; little or no precipitation here. Some snow
    in the western Baltic States and the south of Finland, though many

    Heavy coastal rain in the Balkan States, most extensive north Albania
    towards Slovenia. Inland largely sunny. Sunny spells and dry for Greece
    and Türkiye. A strong breeze in southeast Europe but remaining mild.

    A sunny day across Iberia. A few light showers and blustery winds
    around the central Mediterranean Islands, plenty of sunny spells. Sunny
    too in northern Italy, rain further south with the heavies bursts in
    the far south. Heavy rain from southern Bosnia and Herzegovina
    southward into western Greece, this rain extending inland as well. Dry
    but quite blustery through the Aegean Sea, dry too in Türkiye with
    plentiful sunshine.
    A notable westerly wind from the north of France all the day eastward
    into Belarus - mostly cloudy here with spells of rain across the Low
    Countries, northern Germany, and northern Poland. Brighter spells
    further south, sun may be extensive from central France east along the
    Alps into Hungary and Slovakia. Lighter wind here too. Rain increasing
    in Romania and Bulgaria
    Cold across Scandinavia though slightly milder south Sweden and
    Denmark. Cloudy for most with snow showers continuing onto Norway's
    west coast, rain showers into west Denmark. Only local snowy spots in
    southern parts of Sweden and Finland with a few brighter spells.
    Westerly winds in the Baltic States will bring periods of snow, perhaps
    increasingly bright in Finland.

    Heavy showers over southern Portugal and Spain. Dry and sunny central
    areas, some showers in northern Spain. A rather cloudy day with
    outbreaks of heavy rain for the Balearics, and on a lesser extent over
    Sardinia and Corsica. Scattered showers for Italy, a few heavy in the
    south. Frequent heavy rain across the Balkan States, particularly in
    the south late in the day, these drifting into Bulgaria and Romania.
    Heavy showers in western Greece, drier east and sunny, as well as for
    Türkiye and Cyprus.
    Scattered showers for France, but a longer spell of rain for the
    British Isles. A showery day for the Low Countries and northern Germany
    with strong westerly winds, risk gale force near the coasts. Some snow
    may fall on high ground. A cool day in Germany and Czechia, scattered
    showers and good sunny spells for Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary.
    Several outbreaks of rain will spread east over Poland. Rather cloudy
    for Switzerland and western Austria with outbreaks of rain, and snow on
    the mountains.
    Showers and broader areas of rain across Scandinavia with wintery
    precipitation over high ground. Only local sunny spells in central and
    southern parts of Norway and Sweden. Several outbreaks of rain pass
    southwest-to-northeast across the Baltic States with heavy bursts.

    Sunny for much of Iberia, showers to the south. Mostly sunny across the
    central Mediterranean with a few light afternoon showers in Sardinia
    and Corsica. Fine and sunny in Italy with a few showers south, though
    the northern mountains will see substantial snow. Heavy rain around and
    before dawn over the southern Balkans and Greece, clearing east for
    mostly sunny conditions. Some rain will linger in northwest Türkiye,
    otherwise sunny here.
    Strong westerly winds persist on the continent north of the Alps with a
    risk of gales onto the North Sea coast. Cool temperatures are likely
    from Germany eastward, though more mild in Ukraine and Romania. A broad
    area of rain in northern France and locally heavy east, more showery
    south. This heavy rain pushes into Switzerland and Austria, falling as
    heavy snow in the mountains. Frequent showers in the Low Countries and
    Germany, these pushing east into Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. Drier
    with sunny spells for a time in Hungary, rain then arriving here too.
    Rain clearing east in Romania and Bulgaria for periods of sunshine.
    Showers remain ubiquitous across Scandinavia. Broader areas of rain
    will drift around northern Sweden and the Baltics with snow on higher

    A chilly day in Spain and Portugal. Heavy, frequent showers or longer
    spells of rain affecting northern areas of Spain, dry and sunny
    elsewhere in Iberia. Some showers too in the Balearics, Corsica and
    Sardinia, though mostly sunny. Mostly sunny in Italy with scattered
    showers in the south and west. Dry with bright spells in the northern
    Baltics, showery to the south with a broader area of heavy rain in
    north and west Greece. Dry in Türkiye and brighter south and east.
    A frosty morning from southern France eastward across the Alps,
    southern Germany and Poland, as well as Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary;
    bright in these areas in the morning but increasingly cloudy from the
    west An unsettled day in northern France with rain, some of it heavy,
    strong winds too in the north and west. Unsettled in the Low Countries
    and Germany with more rain and showers, strong winds from the North
    Sea; some showers may fall as snow. Poland should be drier, sunny
    spells here and these extending Romania, Ukraine, and Belarus.
    Cold in Scandinavia with widespread morning frost. Cloud and some
    rain/sleet for Denmark, further periods of rain in the south of Sweden.
    The Baltic States will have cloud and rain/snow too, this extending to
    southern Finland. Northern areas of Sweden should be dry whilst wintry
    weather affects western Norway. Bright spells in southern Norway.

    Thursday
    Frequent showers continue drifting onto the north Spain coasts, falling
    as sleet or snow on high ground. Some cloud further south but often
    bright. More showers for the central Mediterranean islands, these
    extending into southern Italy. Drier north but cloudy. Showers along
    the Balkan coasts becoming increasingly heavy, and particularly showers
    in western Greece. Only odd showers in east Greece and Türkiye; mild
    but strong winds through the Aegean into the Black Sea.
    Patchy wintry precipitation drifts into France, the Low Countries, and
    Germany on a breeze from the North Sea. Broader areas of snow will
    affect Switzerland and Austria. Some snow and rain into Czechia,
    Slovakia, and Hungary. Largely dry in Poland though some snow in the
    southern mountains. Dry with a mix of cloud and sun from Bulgaria
    northward through Romania, Ukraine, and Belarus.
