Back when I was a paperboy, there was a group of families that would come into an apartment complex more or less at the same time. For the first year, they would be good people. But into their second year, they would stop paying rent, etc. (including the paperboy). Then they would proceed to destroy everything they could in the apartment complex. Finally, they would sneak out under the cover of night and go somewhere else.

Side note: My brothers and I delivered ALL the newspapers for a 6 block radius in our town.

After my brother told me about the problem people, I noticed a bunch of "starts" on my route with the same names. Day 1, I tried to collect and told them that they still owed my brother. Needless to say, they never got a paper and I didn't get stiffed.

But in a year and half, they did the same thing to the new apartment complex and then moved on. We found out that they did it again after that before moving out of the area.

It was hard for me to understand people like that back then. But I understand them now.

Back then the newspapers were important to people, probably for the help wanted section and for the coupons.

But despite the changes in things to steal, things haven't changed much for that kind of people. I lived in a lot of apartments so I know what you mean about those who pack up and leave in the middle of the night. When I see people doing things like that it makes me wonder "have they ever known what
integrity or decency was like?"

This is the major fallacy with the Leftists policies: They think that all people are the same.

The reality is that they aren't.
If you give 10 people $100,000 tax free. In two years:
1 will be a millionaire.
3 will be debt free and have a healthy retirement fund.
6 will be just as broke as they were before the $100,000.
