Those elections aren't held on election day, and the only way to find
out about them is by word of mouth. If I can find the bottom of my list
of complaints I'll add that to it.

Interesting. Ours are held on Election Day and have always been, unless there's a special event (i.e. some people on the board quit unexpectedly after getting served).

That's the case with all elections. It's rare to see an intelligent
    person run for office.

Ya, that's something we need to fix across the board.

Career politicians are bad. But no one who wants to be a representative is also bad.

A few years back I was part of Claudie Tenney (R-NY)'s district. I like her. I think she's real. She has a son who is the military. But the governor did some redistricting and then it became a rino's district and now a Democrat.

My wife thinks that our rep (Josh Riley D-NY) is an undercover patriot because he has ties to pro-Israel lobbying groups, but I doubt it. He didn't need a Democrat label to get elected, so therefore he's wearing a badge of dishonor.

Especially now. The "Democrat" brand is toxic.

I've always enjoyed butting-in to leftists' conversation to say "I can't support a Democrat because my dad served in the military."

Now, with all this "Starve the military" crap that Democrats are doing, it puts even more meaning into it when I say that phrase.

The mistake we're both making is we're giving them things to think about but they're incapable of thinking. We need to say to them through a television broadcast.

You neither right or left and so blind that you
can not see the truth. Both sides are to blame and
the GOP are wacky that some of them sound like
they got released from a mental hospital.
