I'm stuck at a desk all day and I was wondering if anybody
    knows of any good podcasts.

i'm sick of theo vaughn acting stupid and doing the same ole thing.
    i'm sick of joe rogan.
i've been listening to michael rosenbaum and went through most of those.
i went through all the tosh podcasts.

i guess next it's more of adam corola.

What topics interest you for your listening tastes?
The podcast downloader I use allows me to see Youtube channels in the
same way I work with podcasts so I am not strictly limited to audio
    files only.
I can take my Youtube subscriptions and convert them with a Python
script to opml format that my podcast client likes.

I don't know what i like, i just know what i dont like. i dont want to hear political junk, i dont want anything boring. i am picky abou the people's voices. if there's a horrible voice i can't stand it. I like lighthearted with some comedy i guess. not sure.

today i was listening to ian bick. he's like the opposite of joe rogan. he lets the people do all the talking.

    knows of any good podcasts.

    Not really.

I used to listen to podcasts while doing barn chores, but one day one of the darlings walked up to me and begged me for pats, and I pushed her away because she was distracting me from the podcast. Half a second away I realized how rotten that was, stopped the podcast and gave her a good rub.

    Back to podcasts.

    - BSD Now is ok content wise but the guys running it are boring as heck and you can tell they are reading the script verbatim.

    - Most IT security podcasts are okeish to be up to date, but opinion segments tend to "recycle" (you will keep hearing the same opinion once and again and again) and if you do IT you are going to get your news from regular boulletins anyway.

    - BBC podcast is UK establishment propaganda.

    - Fox News Newsflash is good for giggles because you will get a lot of unfair and unbalanced opinions after they claim their news are fair and balanced.

There are others I have tried, but you get the point.

Maybe The Libertarian and The Classicist could be saved. The Linux Voice podcast used to be very good but I think it is discontinued for the time being.

Piece of advice, download get Dawn of Victory from Rhapsody and listen to that instead.

Although not in the same vain as the ones you listed, I find myself gravitating back to Darknet Diaries every few months to catch up on newer shows. It's basically about hacking using interviews to get the inside scoop from people involved. Guy has a good voice and keeps the episodes interesting.
    Have fun.
