I have not placed any Christmas decorations to begin with. Christmas is all about gathering together with relatives who hate you and who you hate and pretending everything is fine. I'd rather skip the circus.
While I am not quite as cynical about it, our Christmas gatherings are
always at the home of a family member that lives nearby other family
members, i.e. a few to several minutes away vs. an hour. As I am on the
"hour" side of that, I don't have visitors so no reason to decorate much.
