Hey everyone! Unfortunately its not on the C64 (Image BBS) like it used to be. I am using Sychronet so it can be hosted on a server for me. However, I am trying to recreate it the best I can, since my aunt who used to run it had passed away. It has taken me awhile to even think about doing it, but here I am.
The reason I wanted to start a BBS again, is because the way the current state of things are, I think BBS's will make a come back. A BBS is more personable, in most instances safer. I want to create a space where people

For me BBS' are just a nostalgia fix. I think they can be personable, but I don't know if that is what people want. I think guys like me that used to hauntthese in the 80s might like the personable aspect of them.

bbses are a service you provide for people. seeing nostalgia, etc is not rea > seeing it for what it is. you are looking at the paint on the house, so to
speak. if you don't have real users logging in and playing games and talki > in the msg bases you do not have what a true bulletin board system is.
